Banned from a miscarriage and pregnancy loss group on FB user banned
3rd Jun '13

Because I spoke of my current pregnancy. I lost a baby at 17 weeks to Turner syndrome and speaking of my family helps me cope. I didn't do it to be malicious but to give others hope that they too can have their rainbow babies.

Also I got in to a debate with another woman about the affects of smoking while pregnant. She said smoking is not why she lost her baby and they should delete the truth ads about smoking and pregnant and I told her I happen to agree with the ads Bc it educates those that may not know the risks Bc there are indeed risks. I told her I was not saying that she was the reason she miscarried just that I happen to agree with the ads. I myself was a smoker and quit cold turkey when I found out I was pregnant but I know everyone can't Bc just like any other drug it's an addiction.

Was I wrong or were they for banning me?

They were wrong for banning you. The lady who lost her baby, most likely didn't lose it to smoking, but people need to know the risks.

And posting about your current pregnancy might make some people sad, but it will also give some people hope.

is there more to the story cuz I don't see why they would banned you just because you were talking about your current pregnancy and the loss you had b4..

Because it's a Facebook group. I've been banned from groups for merely stating an unpopular opinion.

I'm betting there is a bit more to the story than that.

Everything that happened I posted. I later learned its not acceptable to talk about current pregnancies bc it could be hard on some ladies but they can post pictures of fetuses and babies dead. Even one woman posted at 7 weeks a picture of the blood clot and named it. Maybe that was hard for me never getting to see my baby.

That and the debate is why I believe I was banned.

I can see from your attitude that you don't have much respect for their losses.

You deserve to be banned if you're going to talk like that.

:? That is not okay.

And I don't think a FB loss page is the place for a debate.

Yeah this, plus your need to debate smoking....can totally see why you got banned.

It wasn't much of a debate. I spoke from my experience as a smoker and she claimed I was being judgmental when not once did I speak on her situation. I spoke on mine.

I don't think any mother that has suffered a loss wants to hear that some random person thinks the loss was the mothers fault, regardless of if it was poor judgement :?

Have a little....idk class? tact?
Something, ffs
