I'm so sorry for your loss :( it just like losing a member of your family.
We just put down our 6 year old giant poodle named Cali 3 days ago. Over the past week she just went down hill. Her body was just failing her she would pee and poop on her self couldn't walk nothing. We thought it was best to not let her suffer any longer.
I bawled like a baby saying my goodbyes. :(

He just got so bad so fast. I mean, I knew he had to be taken in quickly so his bladder wouldn't rupture, but it was just like he gave up and just laid there vomiting on himself. It was all within a 3 hour time frame. I feel like he would have passed fairly quickly if we would have stayed at home but I didn't want to take the chance of him suffering any longer than he had to. I would have taken him in a lot sooner but it was a very hard decision going out in the storms risking my son. Thank god we got home just in time.

So sorry for your loss. I also had to put my cat down back in October due to a blockage. By time I could get him in the vets office he was in severe kidney failure. The vet told me he could do surgery but he most likely wouldn't of made it through it. The vet also told me this is happening more in male cats who are fixed. How old was your cat if you don't mind me asking.

He was around 9 and fixed. They said it was caused from his food. If that's the case, they should take it off the market!

Awww he looks so much like my Dante. He had the same thing happen. It cost us 1000.00 to fix him, but we had him for 12 years and he was worth every penny. I miss that damn cat. I'm sorry for your loss.
