That a woman can feel her baby move at 8 weeks? I've seen someone say it before but idk if I believe it.

To those that say they have what exactly do you feel?

I've heard some say as young as 6 weeks they've felt their baby but mostly I've seen 8 weeks... Thoughts?

I've felt it at 15 with my first, 11 with my second and 10 with my third. Just flutters though. Sometimes its hard to tell but if they believe it then whats the harm?

Oh I know. I just meant that as a general statement. I think that early it's probably gas but unless it's my uterus I can't say anything for sure lol

Not possible but I can understand why some women really believe they do. Gas honestly feels different when you're in early pregnancy and sometimes I could swear I feel movement but I know it's just too early.

wc_fd_f-2.jpgThis is how big a fetus is at 8 weeks. I don't think it's possible to feel that early.

No.

But I'd a believe a seasoned pro who claimed to feel flutters at 10 or 11 weeks.

Same here. I'm 13 weeks and I swear I feel flutters but I pass it off as gas Bc I am kinda early

IDK how I feel really. I believe at that time, it's too early to feel even the slightest flutters. But like someone else said, gas does sort of feel like the first flutters so I can certainly understand why women wonder about it as well. I personally don't believe you can feel flutters until 11 weeks at the earliest and that's because I felt my son that early, NO doubt about it at all. This time, I was freaked out because I was constantly feeling fluttery feelings around 6-8 weeks but I just kept telling myself, it was gas. Lol. And I really didn't pay much more attention to it till I started feeling the real flutters around 14 weeks and small light kicks by 16 weeks.

You can maybe feel your body stretching, cramping and acting different because of the baby, but it's not the actual baby you feel moving around.

I know what the first flutters feel like, and I can say that sometimes I get gas and it feels JUST LIKE those first flutters. But I'm not pregnant. So my guess is that is what it is and they are mistaken. I don't believe at all that somebody can feel the baby any earlier than maaayyyyyybe 16-ish weeks. The earliest I felt any of mine was 18 weeks though. There has even been times that I'm not pregnant and I get freaked out because sometimes gas feels like a baby kick even. Sorry if TMI, just saying, lol. You can swear up and down that you feel it, but I won't believe it. Still think it's mistaking flutters for gas or upset stomach.

I completely agree. I was very slim with DD and could only feel her movements (from the inside) at 16 weeks when pressing down on my stomach. I see women on here swearing up and down that they feel movement at 10-11 weeks and I just roll my eyes... There's no convincing them otherwise either way. They're all excited about feeling the gas baby in there lol.
