Hey ladies. So I am really thinking about cloth diapering. Is there anything special I need to get for cloth diapering? I know of course the diapers, and I have heard a lot of people get the liners and stuff like that. Is there any special laundry detergent I should get or anything like that? I am def new to this. I have been using disposable diapers on my son, up until now I have became kind of interested in using cloth ! Thanks !

You need cloth safe detergent and rash creams if you use them. Other than that, no, you dont' need anything special.

Here is the home made cloth diaper recipe that I use:
1 cup borax
1 cup oxyclean
1 cup washing soda
Mix together. Use 1 tblsp for a small load, 2 for a large

You can get all of these in you laundry detergent isle in walmart.

Also as for the diaper liners (helps when you have to use CD-unfriendly diaper rash cream) don't waste your money buying it online. Just go to any fabric store, buy fleece for like 6-10$ a yard and cut them into squares. Thats literally all it is. Micro fleece is preferred, but any of the other fleece with work. (It also keeps babies bum dry).
