I'm not comfortable with birth control either. It's a personal choice and it should be respected.

not all ppl can take BC. I hated it. All of the hormon stuff made me crazy. I was so hatefull on it I couldn't stand myself lol. I'm latex sensitive so only non latex condoms, and I hate them. I'm too paranoid about an IUD. Since we have 4 kids my husband had a vasectomy last Nov.

OP If you are finished with making babies have you thought about something like a tubal, essure, or even a vasectomy for him?

I don't think it is the BC. I think it is the having sex too soon and not letting your body heal. It's not safe, so I'd say they are simply concerned.
I don't use any form of birth control and never will. We've use the POM for 12 years. I get sick as well when it comes to hormonal BC.

we successfully did the pull out and calendar tracking of my most likely days to get pregnant and avoiding having sex on those days for YEARS and never go pregnant until we decided to try.

Thank you, and agree.
Its not that I just don't want to take it for the fun of it.
I have tried many and they have made me very sick.
I don't want to have an injection and end up SO sick because its in my blood stream, I don't want something placed inside of me as that terrifies me and there are a lot of risks. I have my reasons and my doctor understands this.

Like I said I am not going to be overly upset if I am pregnant, I am not a teenager, I am already a mother of 5 ( 4 here on earth )
All I want to know is how likely it is for me to be pregnant when I don't know if I am ovulating and if I haven't had a period.
I mean if Im not pregnant than we are done, if I am .. than it was meant to be,

birth control refers to ANY method of preventing pregnancy, not just hormonal contraceptives.

I completely understand not taking birth control pills. We use Natural family planning, but know we could handle another child if NFP failed for us.

I didn't say she has to be on birth control.I just said I'm sure not ALL birth control makes her vomit. Then I told her to protect herself if she's worried. Which could mean any form of protection.
