For the past month, DD has been terrible with eating. She literally won't eat anything! If she doesn't eat what I give her, I try one other thing and then give up. She went from liking a few things, to nothing. I try new things and still nothing. She refuses to eat things that use to be her favorite and just screams "no" if I try to feed her anything. I know she isn't sick, so what the hell? It's getting really frustrating knowing she isn't eating and having to keep throwing food out.

How old is she? It's a normal phase for toddlers to go through, multiple times lol. She won't starve herself, remember that her stomach is very tiny so if she has a few bites of something she may feel satisfied even though it seems like nothing to us. Kids are also natural grazers and like to spread out their eating throughout the day instead of in three meals. You could try healthy snack trays, with different fruits/dry fruit, veggies, crackers, cheese, etc for her to have access to all day. Or just keep offering at meal times.

She's about to be 21 months. She gets like this every so often but this is the longest it's gone lol. Funny thing is, at my MIL she will eat! They feed her the same things that I do but she just refuses with me. The snack tray is an awesome idea! She use to love cheese and crackers so maybe that will lure her in lol

21 months. She loves Cheetos, fries and the squeezable a lol. I feed her what she likes while also introducing new things. She's a very picky eater.

my daughter is almost 18 months, and the only way she'll eat is if she has a utensil and is feeding herself. she'll refuse food if we try to feed her.

That's a cute idea ! I think I'll try that although I think she will just turn it over and pour them out lol

My daughter is almost 21 months as well and is terrible as well as far as eating. She eats nothing. She has eaten 3 bites of a gronola bar for breakfast and a piece of mickey mouse cheese(only cheese she will try) she won't eat any kind of meats or veggies or anything..I get your frustration! it sucks! :x Do you know how much your LO weighs by chance?

Ugh DS is doing this now too. I honestly wish I could just give the kid purees forever. He ate EVERYTHING with the purees- spinach, prunes, broccoli, peas, turnips, asparagus- EVERYTHING.

He is going through a phase (or at least I am SO hoping it's just a phase) where he won't eat ANYTHING. He will throw everything on the floor the second it touches his tray. The only thing he's been eating is fruit, cheerios, and cheese

Yes ugh it makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong :(

At her 18mo she weighed 24 but I'm not sure anymore. I'd say about 26, she hasn't grown much

Yeah me too. I feel like I'm starving her. She won't even try anything i offer her..she judges it by looks and then smells it. She even refuses most junk foods as well..even though I try not to offer them too much. My LO is 26lbs. They sound way to much alike unfortunatly in the picky food category! lol
