Do you or have you given it to your LO? DS sucks at eating! Completely Sucks! He will only eat one puree gerber (I know I know, how freaking horrible) but that's the only thing he'll eat, I've tried everything and anything to get him to eat, but nothing seems to work. His pedi doesn't seem concerned but I do, he's not getting the nutrition he should be getting, so we decided to try pediasure.

Pediasure is just sugar. Try feeding him real food.

I have and he will not eat it, he will start gagging on throw up, I've tried mac n cheese, pasta, soup, steamed veggies, chicken and he wont eat, i will sit him on my lap and see if that helps but no, we eat together at the table, and he never sees interested in what we're eating

We gave Pediasure at the recommendation of our doctor. We had to dilute it a little because it seemed to sit heavy in his belly. He doesn't do well with milk products to begin with but the Pediasure seemed to be ok diluted.

We only used it here and there though.

Give him a vitamin and he will get hungry enough to eat at some point. Pediasure will just fill him up and then he will never eat. If you need to do it once a week alright... but it really should not be a daily thing, especially if your doctor is not concerned.

Have you tried making smoothies at home instead? You can hide whatever you want in them.

Are you still breastfeeding? Or giving formula? My son didn't really pick up on his eating until I day weaned him at 18 months from breastfeeding. Then he'd eat three meals a day and nurse before his naps.

We had this problem with DS, who we later found to be autistic. The Dr. advised against pediasure and instead said to give him Toddler formula with his meals. He was fine.

His pediatrician recommended us to start weaning him from formula at 11 months, we didn't think it was going to be that easy, and she's the one who recommended the 2%
