Any one have any good tips on how to help me from losing so much hair? I have PCOS, hypothyroidism (which is under control with drugs) and I am almost 5 months PP. I am also breastfeeding and my doc won't even let me use anything topical. If I breastfeed my baby for a year I will be bald by then :(

Well while women are pregnant they don't go through the normal process of losing hair. That's why they lose so much after they have a baby. Usually it's not too long after child birth.

Yep I'm quite aware of this. Because of my PCOS however, I'm not sure it will ever stop falling out.

I have a few friends that had that problem after pregnancy. One of them actually went bald on the top of her head. She started using Nioxin Shampoo and Conditioner, her hair grew back in no time seriously like maybe 3 months and you could only tell if you knew. There is also a cheaprr version of this that they sell at Sallys. I hope that helps.

You can also try getting scalp treatments at a salon. Or you can do it at home. Massaging the scalp hasn't been "proven" to work but it also hasn't been proven to not work. In my opinion it works.
