Quoting Captain Obvious:" But mine goes into full on tantrum mode when I turn right. She wants nothing to do with explanations ... [snip!] ... and cries and screams some more. It's like she doens't even HEAR the explanation. Once it starts she cannot be reasoned with. "

He definitely doesn't do that.

Honestly I doubt it BUT I would in your position seek out a psychiatrist since they could start a diagnose.

Thanks. I'm going to see if we need a referral to go to one- our pedi has just told me to keep ignoring her and it is NOT working. I need help.

She was just diagnosed a few months ago
She is currently living in a children's home,in state custody because she would run away, lie, steal and do drugs :( I haven't talked to her in a few months
She has always been difficult, was never happy, always cried/whined or threw tantrums.even at her age now she still whines when he doesn't get her way :?

I would start with a child psychiatrist first before having the schools evaluate. Depending on what the child psychiatrist has to say then I'd make an appointment with a child psychologist and meet with them.

It sounds like SPD and/or ODD, to me. DD has SPD and has a lot of those characteristics you described.

Good luck to you.
