yep hold him, I highly recommend babywearing. Look onto wraps or slings. that way you can have your hands free and he is still next to you. 4 weeks is still really young! I don't buy into that myth that you can "spoil a baby", plus what's wrong with him wanting to be held and whatnot, you know what I mean?? they grow so fast, just treasure it. :)

He hates being in a carrier/sling! That's why I have no idea what to do. lol

have you tried a wrap??
If not, just seek out help from anyone you know! This time goes by so quickly and next thing you know they are off to kindergarten! My housework suffered when my babies were in the first 3-4 months of life, they lived on my chest, in my arms, nursing. :)

I have a Moby, but he doesn't like it. He is by far the most difficult baby I have ever met! Unfortunitly it's just me, DS & DD (who is 2) home for the next couple of hours.

my LO hated ANY type of carrier until i just let her cry as i sang to her and bounced. she fell asleep soon and now she loves it :)

I tried that, he cried so bad he couldn't catch his breath! I think he's going to be a difficult child. lol

Maybe he's gassy? Have you tried stuff like grip water or colic tablets?



Sounds like he may be colicky :(

did you try wrapping him in a blanket brookelynn was like that for the longest time and that's how we'd get her to stop
