Assuming you mean during pregnancy? It's considered 'not safe' due to listeria, but I don't listen...

As long as you get them toasted, the risk is eliminated I think.

I read and heard about that with lunch meat. I asked my OB and she said it was fine. I haven't gone overly crazy eating it.. but I still indulge every now and then and I'm at 31 weeks today :D

They say its bad because the chance of listeria. Toasting won't make a difference. I ate subs a lot while pregnant and never had a problem.

It's fine, I craved Subway BMT's during my pregnancy and ate them quite often.

It does make a difference. Heating until steaming kills the listeria.

Heating it up will kill the bacteria. You could always have them toast it and if it's not enough, stick it in the oven at home for a few extra mins.

I worked at Suabway when I was pregnant and ate there a couple times a week and never had a problem.

Heating it kills listeria so toasting it would make a difference.
