Put a warning in the title and go for it.

Honestly if it left decent marks, if she's in pain, or you're questioning it... I'd give the doctor a call. If something worsens and it gets infected, it can look like neglect.

You can post a pick but should probably put *warning* in the title so people know.

What color is the burn? If it's red and not blistered, then it's first degree. A first degree burn only involves the epidermis (top layer of skin).

I know I just want to make sure its not a 2nd degree burn first, because if not then I can just try and make it feel better for her, but if its 2nd degree ill go right now.

It does look 1st degree to me but I'd probably get some Silvadene for it. Such a sensitive area.

That's a first degree, but if she appears to be in pain, call her pedi. They can call in a script for Sylvadene.

My son did the same thing not long ago and his pedi said to put neosporian on it and just watch it. He just barely touched it for a sec but it looked like the pic you posted. It didn't bother him and healed fine.
