My sister got one, she had the gastric bypass and had ridiculous skin. Like make you vomit if you saw it. (350lbs-145lbs) it's has only been a year. Her scar is huge. She has restretched a tiny bit. She paid like 7500-8000. With one of the best surgeons around here. She got out of some anesthesia costs and room fees because she had then fix the umbilical hernia at the same time. She is happy with the tummy tuck. I don't have before and after pics but her doc listed her on his website.

my aunt had one. she has 8 kids, and is built like a Barbie doll, except for the loose skin on her belly post kids. It made her belly look amazing. Like she never had 1 kid, let alone 8. She said it was the worst pain she has ever experienced and she would not do it again. She also got a nasty infection and ended up back in the hospital (which can happen with any surgery).

she loves the results, but went through complete hell to get there.

Around here at least if your willing to go to a teaching hospital the tummy tuck costs less if you let the students work on you.

yikes! I'd let students cut my hair, but not my body.

Ehh if I wanted it that bad I would, especially because the real doc is in the room overseeing everything and correcting everything. Plus they gotta learn somewhere.
