oh men.

Last year, for my husband's birthday, I ambushed him with his two best friends and their families to take a photo that he has been talking about doing for years. His favorite painting is this 15th century painting of a family in their best finery on the lawn with indoor furniture, chairs, clocks, etc. He has always wanted to redo it with us and his friends.

He was SO happy about it. totally geeked.

It came out great and had it printed on a big 30 x 20 canvas which is the only art work in our living room.

well, his b-day is on father's day, and I thought it would be sweet to have it framed for the holiday/birthday.

I took it off the wall and took it to Michael's today. I was nervous about the white lie I had planned when he noticed that the big ass pic was MIA.

But the better part of me thought he wouldn't notice because.... he is a man.

he didn't yet

who the heck doesn't notice something like that? haha.

I lubb him so :D

My husband doesn't notice stuff like that either. He still hasn't realized that there is no longer two tv's in the living room and it's been over a year. :)

Haha I wonder if he would notice if it was gone from the wall after hanging a long time, to the point where it was a different color wall behind it? Like a big dark, picture frame shaped spot on the wall. 'Why, where did that come from?' I can see DH doing this about some stuff.

It was up for less than a year, but our house layout is an open floor plan, kitchen, eating area, living room, and the wall it is on is the focal wall of the whole area!

all that is there is a screw. the wall is so bare though. so funny. I had a story concocted that went like this'
-my aunt is allergic to cats, and wanted to see it because she is super into photography right now and wanted a close look at the pic one we have.

lol :)

I know! I am lucky that he is a typical man considering my poor lying skills. My aunt is deathly allergic to cats, and she is into photography.... but that tale is obviously TALL.
