That's the thing I've mostly seen it with two Ms. We're naming him after my brother-in-law who died in March, and he always made the English spelling as Ammar, so that's why I was just going to do it with 2 Ms.

I went to school with a boy with the same name and he spelled it Ahmar. So that way looks normal to me, but between your choices I'd pick Ammar.

The English spelling doesn't really matter, the Arabic stays the same and the name stays the same. I am just gonna spell it with 1 M cuz it looks better and I think everyone agrees. The Arabic is عمار so also 4 letters.
