Extremely IMPATIENT!! BraydensMommy0713 Due July 12 (boy); Oswego, Illinois 10 posts

My pregnancy is starting to hit me very hard! I'm 18 years old and 35 weeks pregnant. My two friends and I were all pregnant the same time. One friend had her first son in April, the other just had her first daughter two days ago, and I'm not due until July. I'm extremely jealous and emotional and I just want to have my son already. Any advice on how to be/stay positive?

Well you are in the homestretch sweetie and it is very hard to stay patient but remember you need to let your lo cook as long as possible and get as much rest and enjoy the last few weeks of peace and quiet because its about to change. I love all of my kids and would change them for the world but if I knew then what I know now i would have slept the last month of my pregnancy with ds1. I should have listened to my mom. Lol

I just kept telling myself that he will come when he's ready! The longer he cooked the better and I wasn't going to rush him. Of course, I absolutely LOVED being pregnant, so that made it easier for me. Just enjoy your time because it's no picnic once he gets here. There will be tons of sleepless nights and "WTF is wrong with you?!'s" to come.

you still have 5+ weeks left not much you can do. my advice is enjoy the peace and quiet now...it only gets rougher after they're here.

I know how you feel. I'm 33 weeks on Monday and I'm so fed up of being pregnant. Feels like I've been this way forever. Plus I've had quite a rocky pregnancy and in quite a bit if pain with my back, fainting spells stuff like that. The MIL keeps accusing me of being incapable of looking after my other son! Just take comfor in the fact that there really isn't very long to go. Do small things like having a hair cut, a nice massage from your SO, paint your nails. Things like that. Pamper yourself because its crazy how something so small can take up so much of your time!!

Just try and enjoy these last few weeks of freedom and 'me' time. Once the baby arrives, life as you know it will cease to exist.
