Baby proofing mamas! I need to gate the top of my stairs but it isn't cut and dry. The top stair entry is like 3 feet wide but the one side doesn't have a wall for like 8" so I would have to have an extension to make a corner. If that makes sense? I'm trying to figure out what gates would be my options.

Get the bby gate that is wooden. It screws to the wall and you can swing it open. My cousin has stairs just like this, and has a gate like that.

Quoting Ravey Candyass:" why not just put it right on the top stair instead?"

Cause my fear is my one year old would try to walk down that one stair and face plant onto the gate.
