Abortions... ♥Mrs.Garcia 18 kids; Houston, Texas 13802 posts

So right now, we are struggling like we always have been. With my daughter who is 6 months now. My DH really wanted us to have an abortion but me coming from a really religious background have had it beaten into me that is was bad. Well, skip a year and some months later, my perspective change. I have always been prochoice but for my person, I couldn't do it. Well SO ruined my pregnancy with my second and it took me a while to get over it. Like I really hated him. We almost didn't make it. We shouldn't have made it but we did. But now I know if I were to come up pregnant, I would be at peace with having an abortion. I have two kids. We are struggling. Right now would not be a good time to bring a baby in to this world and I really have to think about my kids I have here. I know the child's soul, if it were to happen, would come back to me at a later date hopefully when I am more ready. So here is my question, if I have an abortion with the pills, how long before you can BF again? Does it hurt a lot either way? How much did yours cost? Hopefully I can find some funding to do it. My parents already told me (through a casual political conversation a few months back) that if they found out they would no longer continue to help us out if need be. Well, what ever. This is my life and if I'm okay with it spiritually, it's none of their business. I'm just afraid it would come out later or something. I don't want anyone to know.

I would suggest going to a doctor who can go over the risks of the pills while still breastfeeding. I'm also not sure where you are located but there are clinics that will work with you on a payment plan if you can't afford it and if your insurance doesn't cover it.

No I'm not. But I'm a week late and I'm just considering all my options and getting my mind right in case it were to happen. With my daughter it all happened so fast I couldn't do it, because I didn't have time to really think it through. Soul searching you know. It's also kinda a vent. lol

I'm confused. If your not pregnant why would you be thinking about this? Shouldn't you be doing everything possible to make sure you don't get pregnant?

We have been doing everything but we had a very little ooops. Now I'm a week late. So, it is a thought. I took a pregnancy test three days ago but it was negative. Woohoo. So I'm taking one again on Monday if I don't have my period by then. I'm just considering everything. Just send me some Aunt Flow Dust okay. lol :)

Your probably just stressing to much over it being late. Have your doctor prescribe you plan b just incase you have any more accidents. *aunt flow dust*
I hope everything works out for you!!

Mine cost 350 dollars. It hurt. I had cramps like contractions. I cant remember how long it lasted but i stayed in bed all day. I had my 2 year old running around. So if you go, the next day have someone take your kids overnight so you can stay in bed.All

I have done some research on bfing and hpts. Apparently hcg can get split between your urine and breastmilk causing the urine level to be very low (causing a very faint positive or a false negative longer than than a woman who isn't bfing)
My positive on day af was due was barely visible, didn't get very noticeable till af was a week late (I am bfing my 6mo old)
Of course bfing can cause your af to be off.

Well, my period is a week late as of tomorrow and I took a test *a couple of hours ago* and there was absolutely NO line. Just in the control which is GREAT! Do you think it should of shown by now at least? I know, I reminded myself again today that it is probably just late because I'm exclusively breastfeeding. We haven't introduced solids yet. So... I feel more confident that it is that. Hopefully. But that is something new I learned today but it makes sense.

I paid in cash with no insurance. Total it was $261 at the planned parenthood in Illinois ( I went out of state)

Cramps aren't that bad. They are strong but not unbearable. I stopped passing large clots and I already passed the fetus within a few hours of taking the last 4 pills.
