I think its more of trying to make you realize that you DO have options. but if you have already decided on your option they shouldn't push it on you. I got pregnant at 16, then 18, and now. after my first pregnancy I learned to tell people straight up that I plan to parent and they usually didn't bring it up anymore. Well, except DS's dad. He was a douche lol.

Because when you're 17 you should be focusing on school and prom. Not taking care of a child.

This is coming from someone who got pregnant, graduated, and delivered at 17.

That's true, but you asked a question and I gave you an answer. When people see your age and see you're 17, they see an entire life ahead of you that you won't get to experience.

Now I'm not saying my children messed up any dreams or that I'm any different because of them, they just gave me new dreams and its taking me a bit longer to accomplish those goals.

A normal 17 year old is in high school with is why people assume that. It's very rare you graduate before you're 18 years old.

What i said wasn't a stereotype. It's fact. Sorry you're still to young and naive to see it. Give it 5 or 6 years and you'll get it.

If y you don't care why waste the energy to make a thread bitching about it....
