depends on your definition of expensive haha.
for us, its within our budget because i plan and buy everything over 6 months so i dont consider it expensive

That's a smart way to do it. I think last year I spent about $800 but our goody bags were no where near as good or personalised. We ha a jumping castle, which is where the major cost was

yeah the jumping castle was the biggest thing for us this year because we bought one outrght instead of hiring, that was $275, the 2nd most expensive thing was the hall at $175 for the hire($500 deposit which we got back though) and the cake, happy feet & face painter were $150, everything else was under $100 and spread out over 6 months :)

No way! I would have thought that the cake was an easy $400 there. Did you get it done privately? It looks unreal!

I was quoted $400 plus form some people!! But i searched and searched, my regular cake maker was taking a break from her job so i had to find someone else, and i was recomended to this lady by a friend, shes amazing, she made my dads birthday cake, Izabellas cake and 30 cucpakes for her party for $280 TOTAL. I was mindblown and was so worried they would be crap because of the price(unfortunately i've been burned before) but nope, absolutely amazing and perfect

i also got lucky, student photographer for $50 was a massive saving on that expense and she was amazing too!

That's awesome!

Cakes cost so much. I'm lucky that I know someone who makes them but last year she had just had a baby an all the quotes I got were so expensive. I ended up making it myself and onalee went crazy decorating with lollies. Didn't look great but the kids loved it at least

Where did you get the personalised stuf from? eBay?

haha she wouldve loved that! I'm doing that for her birthday dinner, i'm either covering it in white fondant and let her draw all over it with foodsafe markers, or white icing and letting her go crazy with lollies haha

Actually Etsy for most of it, i'm very anti-ebay lately haha, too many things going missing!
www.etsy.com :)
My etsy profile is here if you want to see the specific people i bought off, but i've 'favorited' a million personalised things haha :D
