We're so tight on money I can't get more diapers for the baby till the 17th, my husband has to have emergency dental surgery on the 21st, and only $800 out of the $1700 is covered.... I do not know what to do... I secretly made a wish on WUAH.... but I just don't see anyone helping us when so many others need help as well. What do I do? We have a small amount of savings...very small..it'll cover $200 more of the $900 we don't have covered under care credit.

Just venting I guess. Been praying a lot. Having little faith though these days. Three kids, one income, home schooling....it's all a lot to keep up with!!

If you want to see my wish here it is, please pray for my family! My husband is at risk of the infection getting into his blood stream any day.

You should definitely go to the Donations thread in Shopping and Classifieds.
There are some wonderful ladies there.
Sorry you're having a rough time! You will absolutely be in my prayers.

Try a church or a place like Door of Hope?

I'm sorry to hear this :(

can you make payments on the dental stuff so that you have some cash for diapers and necessities? If your insurance only covers a portion, the will mos tlikely make payment arrangements

Have you checked around for places for a battery? I got mine from Walmart for under $70. Can you take out a credit card and put everything on it and start paying it off as soon as you can?

This.

Some doctors/dentists will make payment plans so the large chunk of the bill doesn't hit you at once. Worth a call.

I was going to say the same..most dental places will take payment arrangements especially in a time like this....

Sorry you are going through this.. :(

have you considered cloth diapering? You can start it REALLY cheap and then you won;t have to worry about buying more. do you have any old receiving blankets lying around? Then a couple of safety pins, and you can get a 4 pack of gerber plastic pants at wal mart for $6. You can also get flour sack towels to use as flats and they run about $1/piece.

Thank you guys. I did ask at his xray and consultation about payment arrangements and because we are already getting a reduced rate(chya right, doesn't feel that way, LOL!), they cannot accept a payment plan. Out of pure desperation, I called my bank to see if I had any credit card offers. Turn out I do, so I applied for a 12 month no interest card, and I find out Saturday if I am approved and how much. I know the minimum is $500. Doesn't totally help me before then, though. I have 10-15 diapers for Miriam, our 5 month old, and I have to pay a parking ticket my husband got for $25. We're out of staples, I have 1/8 of a gallon in the tank.... I have to say it feels pretty miserable. But I do realize so many have it worse and if anything, this is a first world problem. Just sucks to be a slave to the system....

Btw my potty trainer wears 5 in diapers or 3t/4t in training pants, my 5 month old is in size 2's.
