My oldest is 3 and I haven't attempted it yet. I think closer to four and then only to kids movies and early showings, where that's sort of expected.

DD is 3. I haven't taken her yet but I have wanted to since her birthday. If the new baby isn't here by the 3rd I'm taking her to see Despicable Me 2. :)

DD was almost 3 and we saw Madagascar 3. She loves going to the movies, shame its so expensive. We're taking her to see the new Monsters Inc movie this month.

DS was 18 months when we tried it, only because our movie theater does a summer movie special where it only costs a dollar. We saw Shrek Ever After, he made it through almost all of the movie.

The next time we took him, he was almost 2 1/2 and we saw Beauty and the Beast in 3D, he made it through the whole movie.

DD was 3 I think, and it was Rango.

Now that she's 4, almost 5 she really enjoys going, and we see lots of things.

My oldest was 2 months, I saw Fellowship of the Ring, my second was 7 months, I saw Return of the King...the third was 8 months old, we saw Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Monkey is 2 weeks old and I haven't ventured to a movie theater with him yet. I don't know when I will.

Quoting ArmyWife & Mom x3:" We go to drive-in. Our youngest was 5 months the first time lol."

We've taken DD to the drive in a few times. We usually drop her off at my mom's if we're going to go since she lives right by it, but last time we went we took her. She slept through most of the first movie and said she wanted to go home when she woke up, so we decided staying for the 2nd would be a bad idea - but we weren't that excited to see it anyway; We were there for the first movie.

8 months, on Mother's Day this year we saw Iron Man 3, she just bounced and laughed for the previews, then pooped, BD changed her and then she nursed and slept the rest of the time haha. It was relatively easy but I plan on waiting till she's bigger for the next one so she actually enjoys it.
