she must be paying for a private birth ... that's all I can think of. The NHS hate doing any non-emergency surgery ... for obvious reasons.

must be hot topic of the month, just to let you all know my little boy was born weighing 9lb 11oz and yes they did have to get him out using forceps as his head was big which wasn't nice as he was really bruised, perhaps if i had had him naturally his could have got stuck his head circumference was 39.5 cm

Right? My son was almost the exact same size, was hard to get him out, and there were no forceps used. They just gave a little push from the outside and pulled a little with a bit more of a wiggle.
