I guess we have a big storm coming and they are predicting the power will go out. My question what do I do with a 9 month old with no power in the dark ? I'm not excited about this

I'm just freaking out a little now. Some people are leaving work early and I'm stuck here. It's supposed to hit right during rush hour of course too.

I hopeit's not too bad for yall, I would get a batterie operated fan just in case the lights went off it wouldn't be so hot inside, and flashlights/lanterns and candels, Prep some food and leave it covered just incase the lights don't come on soon i'll have food cooked waiting for us

I've got stuff charging. It's basically all I'm able to do. I can't have my phone die...it's my alarm for work tomorrow haha.

I'm anxious about it too. FX they're overreacting about what's coming...

Thanks! I hope so too!! Over two years ago when I was pregnant with DD, there was a huge storm. It happened when I was coming home too. As I was driving home from my train station and it was pouring so crazy, the sirens went off. Scared the hell out of me. I'm legit scared right now.

Our power went out for like 7 hours one night.. I lit candles and Chloe just played on the floor.. it didn't bother her=)
