How long can PPD last for if the person suffering doesn't receive/ask for any help/treatment?
And does it get worse with time?

I don't think there's a time limit or intensity limit. It just varies. :(

Do you know anything about the treatment of it? Or help that people get?

Therapy and/or meds usually. Vitamin d and fish oil help for mild cases. Why what's up? If you wanna pm that's fine too

I had it after having my son. I never said anything to anyone and it went away after a couple months. I had a hard time feeling close to him and one day it was like all that went away and I felt a bond that I hadn't felt before. I am dealing with some ppd now after losing a pregnancy and my OB kinda pushed meds on me but I turned them down. I would rather deal with it on my own.

My DS is 13 months. I don't think it's going away on its own.
I'm glad you were able to deal with it on your own though.

I am sorry to hear that. I wish you the best in fighting it.
