After hearing about castor oil to help induce labor I decided to take it in my experience was horrible so now I have just decided to let baby take its course......am I the only that has taken the oil or epo to smooth out cervix

EPO isn't used to put you in labor.

That's only because you don't know what you're doing. You can't predict how someone's contractions will be based off of your experience. Also, EPO softens and ripens your cervix, not puts you into labor. Maybe you should have done a little research on what you were doing before going blindly into these things.

I'm guessing the castor oil is what made you go into "labor" when you posted earlier? I.E. - have contractions but not progress

I had a friend try to self induce using castor oil years ago. All it did was make her throw up and have the runs non-stop for two days.

That's because castor oil is a laxative. So yes you'll end up with lots od "contractions" but it won't be active labor

Tried Castor oil with my second without doing all the research and all it did was give me the shits. Absolutely no contractions or anything.

Why is it a good thing to stop people from using EPO? There's not a damn thing wrong with it.



Castor Oil is stupid, mainly because people don't know HOW to use it, like OP doesn't.
