Ok, so today I finally have an apt with a Gastroenterologist at 1pm,
Iv been sick over a year. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar. in the beginning my drs thought I have GERD, don't know if I do have it or not, because everything they were trying wasn't working. I was having HORRRRIBLE attacks and finally went to the emergency room a couple months ago. my temp was at 94degrees, and my blood pressure was up to 260!
I am 22yrs old and 4'11. before I got sick I was on a medication that made me gain weight, like 50lbs or so... so when I got sick I was about 150lbs. Now I am down to 90lbs! I wound up having my gallbladder removed in march, after having pancerintits twice in one month. But ever since the surgery I have NO appetite, and its basically if I had morning sickness every morning and im NOT pregnant. iv been getting sick every morning for over a yr, it has gotten better since surgery but im still getting sick. I'm hopeing they figure this out!! im tired of being sick! I think its been taking forever and no ones taking me as serious because I only have medicade, reason why im just now getting an apt to see the specialist.
If you had gallbladder surgery also maybe tell me some back story and how you felt after it was removed, I was praying id be better when it was out!

This happens to me sometimes. I thought maybe they were phantom attacks but i googled something about it and it said something about the spincter that was attached to your gall bladder!

I'm sorry. :( I hope you get to see a specialist soon!

I had Medicaid and I got to see a very wonderful Neurologist. I don't have the same thing you do though.

I actually really liked my dr! they did blood work while I was their and then scheduled me for a endoscopy and I have to make an apt for an ultra sound of were my GB used to be. And he prescribed me Zofran (sp) for the nausea im hoping it helps! anyone take this and it help? I had it in the hospital when I had pancreatitis once, but never in pill for just iv, so I hope it helps
