My 17 month old son, has horrible teeth as well, enamel erosion and pitting. His is caused due to the fact that he has Celiacs. So now that he has started his GF diet, i am hoping it will clear up his teeth issues, cause he is the only child of my 7 that has ever had to have his teeth worked on, or will so far.

His testing for celiacs came back positive? That's good! I'm glad you guys figured it out! Emmas only issue is her teeth, which so far for us seems to be genetic.

Just the blood test, it came back positive for something, indicating a high possibility for it, but not conclusive.. He hasnt had the biopsy. But I am not doing that. I am pretty happy with the results and knowing that since he is improving already on the GF diet that this diagnosis is accurate. The Dr even said there is no point in putting him through it, that if the diet works, will will reintroduce Gluten in a year to see what happens, if the flare ups start back up, then we have our answer as that Yes he does have celiacs.

Doing the test is something we'd have to do here if we want to be refunded the money from the cost of the food. I am glad that the blood test came back positive and you can figure out his diet and make him feel better!

YEah I have had him on the diet for 3 weeks now, and already noticing a difference. NOT With his tongue, that is still flaring up, but from what i read that can seriously take 6 months to correct itself. BUT he is sleeping through the night now, only waking up once to nurse, something he has NEVER done, he is starting to more weight on again. Never was a small baby but stopped growing for a bit. Also he doesnt seem to be sweating as much.
