My friend's parents were together, living together and her mom still went and got child support for them. Eventually they got married, but she wanted to make sure she'd always be set.

Why not? He needs to help pay for the child he created. Can you support your LO alone?

Well then maybe you can try to work things out after the baby comes. Trying to force yourself on him now is only going to make things worse.

But not having him pay CS isn't going to be the thing that makes him come back. There's no reason he should go on all la di da carefree with his life, but you have 2 babies to support all on your own. They need, if nothing else, the money he can send in. I'm sure you're already aware that kids cost money, a lot of money. He NEEDS to help with that.

Sorry OP. That's a shitty situation. But plenty of mothers, some younger than you, become single parents and make it work. Just make sure you have an education, and turn to your family for support.
You're still a child, and I really think it would be stupid of you not to go after him for child support, unless you think you can raise two children and work full time, with the majority of your paycheck going to daycare.

Seriously. Don't pester him, OP.

Just decide if this is what you really want. Do you WANT this baby by yourself, if he doesn't come around? Are you able to support two kids? There is always abortion. You can't just live in a fantasy of "he's coming back, I want him to..." It doesn't always work like that. Reality is a b***h, sometimes.

Exactly. My son's father buys what he needs, and his family helps and is super involved so I didn't put him on it. But you better believe, if I thought there was any chance of that not happening...my ass would be down there first thing the next morning.

why? Because she sugar coated things?
Time to wake up. This is real life and it's about to get harder for you.
Get a job, put him on child support.
