My husband hates coffee but he would drink a cup in the morning, and like Tiarras mommy said, no extras! I buy dark.
ETA: He was doing lots of different things to lose weight, he was taking green coffee bean supplements and I was strictly making steamed veggies/chicken or fish and brown rice for a few months for him and he lost 30lbs lol. He had to drop the weight fast though because he was considered "overweight" in the military.

Yeah, eating right will help wtih the IBS. I'm pretty sure caffeine can complicate that too honestly.
You are likely dehydrated. Water shouldn't make you gag. Is it the taste? Try adding fresh fruit to it.
Trading crap for "healthy" crap full of processed junk won't make you healthier, you know? So things like crystal light and all of that isn't really a great substitute. I know drinking water is hard, but I'd see what you can do about fixing that. It really will increase your health a LOT.

coffee can speed your metabolism up its the sugar and creamer that can cause you to gain weight
i still drink coffee and have lost 20 pounds. maybe it's because i use it as an appetite suppressant.. i just use artificial sugar and a tad bit of milk.

This is exactly me! LOL, I only have a cup in the morning, but I do put lots of creamer in it. I'm only eating 3 meals a day as well and EBF, and I'm STILL NOT loosing weight! I'm 5'2 and weigh 140.

Ahh, I had cup this morning........GUILTY :shock: I think I'm going to try to just drink it black before going cold turkey, and if I can't handle it black then I might just start drinking a cup of tea instead. Does anyone know if drinking a cup of tea ( with no sugar) will help with loosing weight??
