She can't even walk yet... Cakes. 1 child; Michigan 2799 posts

Me and SO were in the kitchen cooking dinner the other night, DD (9 months) was watching us through her baby gate like she always does. I look over and she's half way up the gate, about to be completely over it. The fuck? This kid can't even walk yet, but she's already climbing on everything. She likes to try to climb up the couch too, like up the back rest. Shit's crazy. I have a feeling she's gonna be one of those kids that always ends up on top of the refrigerator.

My 9 month old does the same thing. He's almost given me a heart attack a couple times.

My son was the same way, he was climbing things by 7 months, walking by 9. He would push boxes and things over to stand up on to get to higher areas lol.

Lol so funny! My kids are both climbers.. And have gotten tons of booboos because of it.

She's had a few spills. She doesn't even care, though. She'll cry for like two seconds and go back to whatever she was doing that made her fall in the first place haha.

She just started standing up on her own. Hasn't quite started taking any steps but I know it's in the near future.

She's been trying to climb for about a month now, but just recently she's actually starting to succeed. It's terrifying haha. She just started standing up on her own, too, so walking is in her near future.
