I need new ideas for my son, he is more interested in eating finger foods that he can mash in his mouth. So I'm trying to cut back on purees, neither me or my boyfriend have allergies and no one in either families. He has 1 tooth :) Thanks!

Start with veggies. Introduce a new food every 3 days so you'll know if there are any allergies. I'd start with avocado then maybe carrots and peas.

Can I just cut it in little cubes? I actually just bought 4 avocados last week :)

Yeah, that's perfect. Just make sure they hold shape, but are easy to mush, so he can chew them.

Alright so cut into cubes and then steam them until soft :) It's so cute to watch him gum things to death! The lady at his curches daycare gave him animal cracker legs, I'm just happy he didn't choke.
