Hey :)
My son is 2 months and I've been having to pump in order for him to get my milk. My doctor put me on a no hormonal birth control since week 5pp and I waited a little under a week of taking the pill for intercourse, so it fully got in my system. I've just finished my first pack an still haven't gotten aunt flow. I'm kind of freaking out a tad. I meant to buy a test last night, but forgot. Has this happen to anyone else?

Your pumping, so your period might not come. I'm 10 months PP and still haven't had a period and I'm BFing!

I breastfed DS and didn't get my first pp period till 10 months which was bc he started self-weaning. I was also on the mini pill. I've always been told that it takes longer than one week for your bc to be effective. We waited till after I finished my first pack before not using a backup bc.

I take the mini pill and my "baby " is 13 months old. Still no period. It's normal.

I've always been told 2 weeks for it to get fully in your system.

I took the mini pill (which is not non-hormonal BTW, it's just progesterone only, no estrogen which can decrease your supply) and I didn't have my first pp period till two weeks after I stopped taking the pill at 13 months pp. I felt myself ovulate two days after stopping the pill, then had my period 2 weeks later. I continued breastfeeding till 16 months.

3 months PP and I'm on the mini pill and breastfeeding. No period yet. Also my Dr said take the whole first pack of pills before having unprotected sex because you are super fertile after birth.. Just FYI.

I got pregnant on the mini-pill. I'd test just to be safe, but it's likely that you haven't had a period yet because you're BF.

Thank you ladies for all the comments! I'm going to test just to be sure and if I'm not, then I'm going to talk to my doc about getting an IUD.

I didn't get my period for 7 weeks after starting the mini pill. It's completely normal chances are your not pregnant but you can test to make sure.
