Soooo DD is 3, about to be 4 in a couple of weeks. She still sleeps with me! I dont want her too because to me, she's big enough to sleep on her own... When we lived with my mom, she would sleep in her bed no problem but now that we live on our own and with my boyfriend she always wants to sleep with me. I let her sleep on my bed but then I put her in her bed but she wakes up 2-3 hours later and she comes back in my bed. Her bed is literally 2 inches away from me, its not like shes in a whole other room....

What do I do to get her to sleep alone? , i been thinking maybe its the mattress because the mattress she currently has is the baby-newborn-crib mattress

does she have her own room? Just keep putting her back in her own bed over and over

I just started this two nights ago with my almost 3 yr old.
I was co-sleeping with her and our new son.

The first night was..rough. She came out of her room count-less times.
I ended up rocking her to sleep then putting her in her bed.
That worked.

Then last night, instead of laying where we sleep then moving her,
laid in her bed, stories, fell asleep then left.
maybe try that?
she stayed there from 9:30pm-4am (she doesn't nap during the day)

My DS sleeps with us frequently.
I have to sit by his bed until he falls asleep, but he ends up coming into our bed.
Sometimes I move him back to his bed, sometimes I leave him- depends on how tired I am. (Lame excuse, but I'm pregnant and work two jobs)
Just keep putting her back in her bed, and try having her fall asleep in her bed.
