I would leave it as is if her clients are happy with the photos that's all that really matters.

Yupp. No one owns the spot or the poses or anything. And if the style of the pictures worked once then they will work again for someone else.

Since she's a friend do you know if she takes criticism well? If so, then by all means say something. If she doesn't take it well then, it could really upset her. She's probably just sticking with what has and what is working best for her at the moment. I know a lot of photographers who do that actually lol

If you for sure want to say something then how about something like
"You know I think (name a spot) would be an amazing background for your next shoot!" Or something like that?

I think she would but it's always been difficult to anticipate how she'll react to things, I wouldn't want to hurt her feelings and I think she is truly talented. It's only been the past few months she's used this spot, prior to this is was different spots and different looks and I loved that.
