Falling with Placenta Previa? ρiηkie ρie 3 kids; 3 angel babies; Kentucky 21901 posts17th Jun
Okay, so about half an hour ago I slipped on one of DD's toys. I fell hard on my side, my knee and hip took the worst of it and is already bruising up. Baby seems to be fine, she's moving around. Normally I'd just monitor movements and watch for contractions, yada yada then go in if anything seemed to be off. But I have placenta previa so I'm not sure what I should do here. I'm not bleeding and besides my knee and side being sore I'm not in any pain. Sooo, just watch for anything off like normal? Give my OB a call when his office opens? or go to the ER now? TIA.

Falling without previa warrants monitoring. You need to be seen very soon. Call your L&D triage

Personally if I felt that everything was okay I would go with my gut. But if you think that you should be monitored then go in =) Good luck!

I'd go in and they would probley do an ultrasound to check the placenta

I was told not worry unless I bled
I don't have placenta previa, but I fell and hit my bely pretty hard around 27 weeks with this pregnancy and had to go in for monitoring. He was moving a little less, but no bleeding. They said better safe than sorry and told me to come on in. I hope everything is good! :)
