My 12 day old daughter has been spitting up many times a day.
I exclusively breastfeed her every 2-4 hours depending, and she even spits up after i get her to burp.
She isn't fussy, doesn't seem too gassy, her poops are normal...but this morning alone she spit up 4 times before noon.
I'm thinking it may be from my oversupply and/or that i have a very very strong letdown or ejection reflex particularly on one side.
Anyone ever deal with this? How often does your newborn spit up and please please do you have some advice for me?

thanks.

Babies spit up, a lot. Try burping often and feeding at an upright position. If it seems to be way to much and hurting her, consider talking to a DR about acid reflux.

As long as she doesn't seem bothered by the spitting up, it's fine! My daughter spit up a ton in the beginning and she had reflux. It was only an issue for us because she was in pain from it. If you feel like you have an overactive letdown, try leaning back while feeding or expressing a little milk before feeding.
