But now according to Ehow there isn't a waiting period. I would call your courthouse and ask and see they would 100% know. If there is you can contest it and if they do get married it wouldn't be legal.

I am sorry. If your daughter is pushed off as a result of the new babies he isn't a very good dad anyway. You will ger your happiness. Give it time. Everything is new.

Wait, just because they are having twins and getting married doesn't guarantee a picture perfect life. I mean, look at the way it started off? Starting a relationship like that will set the tone and it is one that will surface down the line and will absolutely have a negative impact on their marriage. Trust this. Be glad you got out of it and at least have a chance at a better opportunity rather than settling down with a cheating scum bag.

I'm totally guilty of doing this with BD  Thank goodness I had friends who weren't afraid to slap me with a reality check.

Or she can not even bother with any of it and not stick her nose in a relationship that isn't her business.

Why would you do this? I mean, just because you're not happy he shouldn't be either? This is pretty shitty. Really petty.

That's going to make her look like the crazy baby momma who isn't over her ex and needs a chill pill.

Depends on the state. Once my SO is completely divorced we only have to wait a month for him to remarry. Cant get the dumb b***h to sign though.

I'm not saying she should it was just input. I would hate for someone to get married and then it not be legal in the end because of something like this whether I hated them or not.

Checked with my lawyer (since he's BEHIND on child support payments anyways) and he said there is no waiting period. He did say that my child support could be lowered :( And now I just hear from my ex that even if I did get married he would not let my daughter change her last name. This day is full of great news.
