My son will be 15 months on the 25th...
I wasn't too concerned about him not walking yet because I know every child is different and milestones are different for everyone ...
But I took my son to have a well-care appointment today and the doctor said if he doesn't walk within 5 weeks she wants to put him through physical development tests :-( I'm not sure why but I am so worried and scared now.
Any advice ? Is anyone else's 15 month old still not walking?
*he will grab onto the couch and walk along sometimes
*he will push his Walky toy by himself for a couple steps sometimes
*he doesn't take steps when I hold only one of his hands.

Totally fine! DS is 16 months and has been walking for 5 days now lol. His pedi put him in therapy too because he didn't walk, but we've only seen the therapist once about 3 weeks ago, so pretty much DS walked on his on, every kid develops at a different pace

Mine is 14 months and hardly takes steps. And that's still only if you stand him up first and bribe or encourage him. He made it the farthest yet today, about 5 feet.

SO's cousin's daughter didn't start really walking til 15-16 months. She would walk all along their furniture but just wouldn't let go. And some kids are just more cautious. Even if you do have to go to an eval, I wouldn't worry too much. He could decide he's going to walk tomorrow.

Rory will practically run around the furniture, but isn't quite stable enough to venture away. He walks great next to us holding our finger so he knows how, just still needs balance and confidence.

My son didn't walk until 17 months. He wouldn't even stand in his own. We went and looked a house that was empty and he just started practically running around the house when I sat him down.

There are no set guidelines for a kid to walk. They can start at different ages. My son started at 18 months.

Mine was 16 months just 2 weeks ago she started, and she is now able to walk up to the park on the side of the road with us, without falling. It happened so quick.

DS didn't walk until between 15-16 months. He did and still does everything on the very, very late side.

My son LITERALLY just took his first steps like an hour ago. He turned 14 months on the 9th and showed no sign of walking until the last few days.
