I lost 10 pounds before I got pregnant just by going! I always started by walking on the treadmill for like 15-30 min and then the bike and then ab workouts arm workouts and legs! I just made my way away around the gym! Lol!

15 minutes cardio every day.



Monday and Wednesday- Arms and Abs
Tues and Thursday- Back and Legs
Friday- 30 minutes cardio and I will work out whichever body part is least sore.



I take Saturdays and Sundays off.

I should have mentioned, I usually do an hour long cardio class. I'm more looking for what I should do as far as strength. I'm totally clueless about the machines.

i'm just starting out with strength, so I've been doing the 2 days a week/every other day method. I usually work out for about an hour total, between the two body parts. I usually just go on a machine and do sets of about 8-10 reps until I get tired, taking a 10 second pause between sets. I time myself the most by listening to music and usually do one machine for at least the full length of a song, and maybe even 2. Sometimes I will lower the weight for the second song... It's working so far. I've lost a couple inches in just the month I've been there.



I read the book 'New Rules of Lifting For Women' .... but I'm not ready for free weights. I like my machines. lol
