So for the last 2 years my periods have come every 28 days and were 3-7 days long. I do have Paragard in and have had it in since February 2011. The last 2 months i started working out. I was doing nothing and now i work out 3-6 times a week. i lost about 10lbs. I am currently 5'2 and 186lbs. So working out was a drastic change to my lifestyle.

I am currently 6 days late. No signs of pregnancy I know i can go take a test. But im just curious if others period dissapeard or became late when they started wokring out?

I was always under the impression that that only happened if the working out was extreme, like marathon extreme or if the exercising brought your body fat too low.

yes, sudden weight change and increased activity can make af go mia

I recently started workout out within the last two months as well. Doing insanity and lifting. I still have my period. I thought you only quit having your period if you are doing like extreme training for the Olympics or something lol

Any rapid weightloss or weight gain can trigger cycle changes. Since each persons chemical makeup is unique , their bodies response to things will be unique also.
An af shouldn't completely disappear unless you are way underweight or training super hard but jump starting a moderate exercise regime can cause a skipped or late af.

It's very possible!

When i went to boot camp for 3 months, I didn't have my period the ENTIRE 3 months I was there, the week after I graduated and came home-BAM! Got my period back!

Any new, stressful changes to the boy can cause your period to be late or not come at all.
