Quoting Kimber-lily:" Perverts will be perverts whether she is wearing a bandue or a snow suit. lol"

I don't really understand this argument. I mean, yes, perverts will be perverts. But I feel like it is common sense that a pervert will pay more attention to a child dressed in booty shorts and bikini top than a t-shirt and regular pants... I mean, why draw the attention that way? THAT'S what I don't get about it. I mean, they're sick f**ks no matter what, but they're going to be more interested in a kid dressed skimpy than modestly.

These were my thoughts as well. I wasn't talking about pedophiles(who want children specifically)but regular guys walking around that see a girl of a young age very developed & flaunting it versus dressing their age(the age was 10 years old)modestly.

Oh heeeeell no...
DH's response was "f**k no" lol. The girl is undeniably extremely talented though. She will be a star one day. However, I would never let DD dance like that or dress like that. Wildly inappropriate for a 10 year old.

You wouldn't have any problem disrespecting your husband like that?

I think that looks like it's good for health (dancing like that probably is a good exercise) , but it's likely a lot for show. I'm sad people are calling her slutty though or saying she's wearing slutty clothes. She's 10 years old, let's not slut shame a 10 year old.

Where did anyone besides you use the word slut?

I don't see what's so hard about teaching young girls modesty and appropriateness. There is no reason for a young child to try and dress "sexy".

You don't think a child with a little bikini on will draw more attention to a pedophile than a child with jeans and a t-shirt?? :? That is my point. If a pedophile is taking a walk to the park to look at children, and there's one little girl walking around in booty shorts and a bikini and the rest of them are dressed modestly, you don't think he'd be more interested in the one dressed provocatively? That's kind of na

I agree... I wouldn't want my 16 year old dressing that way, let alone my 10- year old.

Agreed on the part in bold. It's not the child's fault she's dressed like this, it's her parent's fault.

I'm the one in change of dance. When he takes over sitting at the studio for 5 hrs/4 days a week he can have an opinion. he's pretty into performances though and if I showed him the video he would most likely understand that its just a dance and nothing more.
