What is something I can make to bind the cereal together? Maybe like an icing made from confectioners sugar so it's thin? I don't have marshmallows, and am not going to the store at 1:30am to get some  But I have a sweet tooth... so I'm wanting something like:

And if I do use that icing, should I omit the peanut butter? Or is that a binding agent, too?

I made something like that without the chocolate chips
I used peanutbutter and corn syrup and melted it in a pan, then mixed in Cheerios and it tasted like a peanutbutter cereal bar

I'm not sure if icing would work. Will it stick together with just the pesnut butter. Our try some syrup or honey to replace the marshmallows

I don't have corn syrup :( lol. I saw a recipe using that, too. I'm just worried about it being too sweet with the confectioners sugar. Because I'm also using frosted cheerios, and then the peanut butter and chocolate chips.

I don't have honey. I mean I have like... pancake syrup lol but that doesn't sound good at all. IDK. I think if I thinned it out enough with milk, it'd work. Maybe. Lol

So you have Cheerios, peanut butter and chocolate chips. Do you have butter? I'm gonna look to see if I can find a recipe minus the marshmallow.

Heat up some peanutbutter
It will thin out a little once it's warm

Imo the icing sounds really sweet. When I was a kid we mixed peanut butter with powdered sugar & rolled then into balls. If you mix them together out might be enough bond to hold the cereal together

Yes! As far as sweets go.... I have cheerios, PB, chocolate chips, confectioners sugar (and regular sugar), vanilla, butter, milk.... and I think that's it lol.

That's what the recipe has in it, too. It's marshmallows and peanut butter. I think the PB makes it like.... thick, but the marshmallow is what it all stick together. I think. IDK. I'm about to give up and just do this tomorrow
