Im taking my daughter strawberry picking tomorrow & was wondering if anyone had any recipes for what we can make with them.

Smoothies!
One banana, six strawberries (I use the big ones), orange juice (about 1/3 c), and milk to your liking and blend!

I pound cake (you can make your own but I just buy the one out the deli already made).
Strawberries quartered. I always add a little water and sugar. Put this in the fridge for a few hours.
1 tub of cool whip.



Then you layer, cake, strawberries with some of the juice, cool whip, and repeat. I can usually get two layers. It's so good!!

It's too easy too. I make another one similar to this one. You buy a cake mix, the white one. When you make it you have to use egg whites so that the cake stays white. After it's cooked you poke holes in it with a fork, all over. You mix together a box of strawberry jello and pour in over the cake. Chill it for a few hours and top it will cool whip and fresh strawberries. It's so good!!
