What the crap is going on?! user banned

Before you think omg lady it's your 5th kid, pleade know that I have NEVER had this crap happen with my other kids. When I was in labor, I was in labor and it was done.

Yesterday I had contractions. They got closer and closer and started to hurt more and more, like normal. While waiting for DH to get home off the night shift I decided to lay down and sleep as long as the pain would let me. Well, I slept through the night and woke up with no contractions. Arrggh! But...I was suprised to find I still had bits of mucous plug left, I'm bleeding lightly, and my hips hurt SO bad. I believe he's still breech. Is this "call the doctor worthy" or do I just wait for labor to start? I totally understand all the moms who have to ask if they're in labor right now...my God for frustrating...

I would call, since you're bleeding, and see what they say. Bleeding usually means labor is very near. They'll probably say too wait for contractions though, depending on how much you're bleeding.

I guess my biggest thing is that he's breech...they are supposed to turn him next week...I'm not sure how that works if you go into labor. Like, I'm imagining if I get too far into labor his butt will get stuck. Oh and I'm saying too far because we have a 3 hr drive to the hospital.

You should be observed in L & D with my 10th child period cramps are all that dilated me I was not in active labor.. It is your 5 th and things get tricky.. The FACT your bleeding some and hurt as much as you did is enough to have a cervical check, I'll bet there are changes and your effaced/dilated some BEST wishes!

That bleeding your seeing is probably from cervical changes & that cramping your feeling is enough to do it! I encourage you to get checked and SOON!! I know from experience and my 5 th baby I went from 7 to 1o and had her out in 15 minutes , no time for an EPI and I walked around dilated 5 cm for about a week prior!

It's your 5th, have you delivered vaginally before? If so you can possibly have the baby even though its breech. It all depends on the babies position. There is no reason to have a csection unless you aren't progressing, the baby is transverse or I think(?) feet first.

My mom delivered me butt first 30yrs ago after having 2 vaginal births. Doctors are just way to sue scared.
