Im finding it less and less common then i thought it was when i was pregnant with my first. guess i was just a little uneducated then maybe?
but now i know its really not that common. Just wondering how many of you actually had your water break naturally.

My water broke both times, once in public at my baby shower-yay go me!- and the other time at home in my "sleep," truth is I hadn't slept in days, it just broke during the time you're supposed to sleep.

My first I don't know how to answer lol. I swore it did at 20 weeks. They assured me it didn't. I said it was leaking for the a while they swore it wasn't. He was born at 40w 6 days without a drop of water by csection and the doctor looked over the curtain and goes "did you ever think your water broke". Thank you Ft Campbell assholes

With my daughter it broke at 36 weeks

My water broke twice, but not at the bottom where it should have with my first, then my doctor broke it. He was 3.5 weeks early. I was induced with my second and the doctor broke it. He was a 39.5 weeker. My water broke while I was driving home from seeing DH on lunch break 3rd shift with my 3rd. He was also born 3.5 weeks early.

With my first, the doctor broke it when I was at a 7 I think.
With my second, I felt something weird in my sleep and jumped up to go pee and then stood up off the toilet and it broke all over the place. It kept leaking all the way to the hospital with the NICU an hour away - it was terrible.

ok. now, for those of you who had both happen.
what did you "like" better?
Breaking on its own NOT in a hospital bed (even if it broke on is own in the bed)
OR
breaking in a hospital bed/doctor breaking it?
