Our pedi has just suggested this for my 5 1/2 year old with autism. He is currently on Risperdal and we're discussing upping his dose, this will be the 4th time we've upped it in a little over a year. I dont really feel like its doing much and the reason we didnt go with Abilify a year ago was because it wasnt yet approved to treat those with autism. Well now the FDA has approved it and I'm wondering if you have any feedback on it.

TIA

I took it for bi polar disorder in my teens.

It did well for mood swings for me. But I do not know if this helps as far as for Autism. Good luck momma

I used to take Abilify because I had terrible depression.I began getting blurred vision,my sleep began to increase and I had twitching in my mouth.Everyone's body is different though.

I was on the lowest dosage as a teenager, it made a zombie. It did little to control my mood swings.
