Quoting Dovahkiin:" Zoos/theme parks are always like that. Thirsty? $5 for a mini Dasani. :x"

Right?! And I forget each time that you can bring your own food/drinks to the zoo... so I end up wasting so much money

mm. You know.. the one place I don't think is too bad on prices are festivals. We have local ones over the summer and the prices aren't too bad.

Quoting kthx.:" Hospitality =/= being someones b***h. When I first started with my company, I had to take a 5 hour training ... [snip!] ... the next customer in line that I can help them. Corporate backs us up whenever that certain customer tries to call in on us."

This is completely different though than what went on with this story lol. I mean I would be the same way, because the previous customer causing a scene is disrupting the other customers in the shop.

But what about what you mentioned above. How do you know you didn't hear it wrong that time? I go to starbucks a lot  lol and I always order the same drink, the same way, like 99% of the time. Always iced. They always read my order back to me too so I knew they said iced, but when I got to the window it was a hot drink and I wasn't pissed at all, shit happens but the girl was so annoyed that I had the nerve to want my drink the correct way. I don't think the customer is always right but I feel like it has gone from that to the employee is always right so take what I give you and gtfo

And I said that it's different in a restaurant. You can't tell a customer to get up and leave in the middle of a meal because they're being dicks. I just think, personally, the guy overreacted to something that is done QUITE often.. but he actually saw. I've heard employees saying stuff about me personally when I go out to eat, but I just shrug it off. I just don't go back to that particular restaurant anymore.

I dont think its an over reaction to see someone call your child that in the least. I would be pissed as hell too especially if my child did nothing to warrent it.

Quoting kthx.:" Was it the same person? Like she took your order... repeated back what you wanted, and then still made ... [snip!] ... different? If that's the case... totally her fault. But if someone else made the drink, she might've written/typed it wrong. "

I honestly don't remember. I think it was a different person. It just annoyed me that she automatically assumed it was my fault and acted like I should have just taken the wrong drink and left lol.

In all honesty, I've ordered the wrong # at taco bell because my vision isn't that great, and I don't always wear my contacts/glasses, but they were kind about it when I had told them my mistake. I honestly don't get the big deal when it comes to that. Whoever was wrong doesn't matter. Just correct the mistake and move on.

Since I'm management, the reason I get upset about it is because we now have to waste that food. We get in trouble for too much waste.

I kind of understand because of a*****es who are always trying to get free stuff
