Positive thoughts for DD please.... SherryandMatt Due February 15 (boy); 1 child; 6 angel babies; Arizona 4080 posts

So no one is quite sure what is going on with DD (almost 23months). She had a horrid antibiotic resistant UTI that lasted 6 weeks in April/May that finally the third antibiotic took care of. But of course not after lots of tests. The last couple days she has been saying pee pee hurt and not emptying her bladder or wanting her panties only the pull ups. So I took her in again today and her culture came back clear. She has a history of slight kidney issues since utero, duplicate collecting systems, hydronephrosis and reflux. So they are sending us to the urologist. Hoping to finally get some answers and figure out what's going on. Just scared they are going to have to do another catheter procedure which I understand but I know it's painful. So... some positive thoughts can't hurt and I know you mommas all have big hearts for hurting babies..

THANKS LADIES!

Positive thoughts your way! I hope she get better soon! Just a thought about what could be going on if you don't mind.

I'm no doctor, but I had something similar happen when I was little. I had chronic kidney infections and would cry that my privates hurt. I can remember it hurting to have to use the restroom. I would also feel like I had to go but not be able. It turns out that my Urethra was not large enough for the proper amount to pass through. Which was why my kidneys would become infected. I don't remember much about it, but I do know that they corrected by enlarging it.

they took blood and urine and did an EKG but didnt find anything so they sent us home. thankfully it hasnt happened since. it was horrible seeing him with all the monitors on him he was so miserable, and his favorite blankie fell off my diaper bag in the ER and who ever found it kept it :( we do have the super power of comforting our babies even when were scared ourselves :)
