My almost 5 yr old rides in a backless booster....so what. She passed the 5 step test with flying colors and our seats make it so you cant use a booster with a back or we would have.

If money isn't an issue I'd totally go frontier. I bought it when my dd turned 5 cause she had outgrown her other seats harness limit. I was not close to wanting her in a regular booster and I wasn't sure how much longer the nautilus would last her cause she is pretty big. So we went with the frontier. We got it at justkidsstore.com and it showed up the next day. She still sleeps a lot in the car and its really confy for her.

It's a 5step test to be out of a booster not into one. Full back boosters provide some side impact protection, but many vehicle seats make it hard to use them with the way they sit.

It's your child your choice. I was speaking of peoe I know personally. I have a friends who's daughter just turned 4this month & isn't in any booster. That's more who I was thinking of when I made my post.
